Ground Breakers
In Ocean View, Cape Town during the lockdown, Nadia @ Groundbreakers feeds her community. Reliant on donations she feeds children and the adults in the community who have lost their livelihoods. The gang violence that normally permeates the area due to drug turfs has come to a halt. Ocean View is at peace whilst lockdown lasts.

Shangaan Ceremony - Mwenezi Zimbabwe
In Shangaan culture, where male circumcision is known as hoko, only circumcised men can marry within the community. Uncircumcised men are considered immature and are banned from participating in men's gatherings.
