Give a Man a Mask and He will Tell you the Truth
Zimbabwean tradition and culture stigmatises homosexuality and sex work. This perception is reinforced by religious beliefs, condemning homesexuality practices as sinful. MSM sex workers hide in their communities, often afraid that 'coming out' will attract violence and family members may disown them.
Disconnected
A thought-provoking documentary that shares the raw and honest accounts of those with the lived experience of suicide, shining light on the stigma they face and the importance of connection.
A Shell of Herself
A Shell of Herself is a short documentary that delves into the hidden crisis of domestic violence within lesbian relationships, a topic often shrouded in silence. The film intimately portrays the lives of three women who courageously share their experiences of abuse, including the complex issue of parental alienation. Victims hesitate to report violence, fearing they might betray their already marginalised community.
